If you can, please consider even a small donation. A little help can go a long way. MIMA is involved in a variety of different service projects. This list is a small example of how donations could be utilized:
$0.50 buys one pair of Abarcas (a leather sandal worn year-round by the children walking to school in Posota).
$1.35 buys one liter of IV fluid for the surgery program.
$5.00 buys school supplies for one child (2 notebooks, pencils, sharpener, pens, marker and paper) in the Tutimayu Program.
$7.45 buys toothbrushes, toothpaste and floss for 30 children for one school year in the dental program.
$10.00 buys daily vitamins for one child for one school year in the Buena Vista Program.
$12.00 buys enough specialty yarn for one woman in The Knitting Co-Op Program to produce one scarf which can help her become self-sustained.
$15.00 buys one child breakfast for one year (5 days/week, 10 months/year) in the breakfast program.
$17.89 pays for postage to ship three boxes of suture.
$59.00 buys brick and mortar to build one wall for the school in Uganda Program.
$1250.00 is the cost to send one medical volunteer for the annual surgery trip.
